When I first saw the three amigos sitting, chatting, napping and watching the activities in the plaza in San Miguel de Allende, MX., I knew I would paint them more than once. They are old friends who meet mid-morning and wait for their wives to call them for lunch. I added the colors and serapes to add the historic essence of the place. In the black background I painted historic ancient Mexican symbols for additional interest.
