After graduation from Philadelphia College of Art (University of the Arts), Sue worked in the Art Department of a large insurance company. Years later after retirement from teaching, she took action to re-establish her passion for art. Her mentors have been Catherine Anderson, Virginia Cobb, George James, Reuben Coy, Cholla, Polly Hammett, Robert Burridge and Linda Darke Swaynos.
